Eels

Eels (not “The Eels”) have been making music since the mid-90’s but this (Wed, June 14th, 2023) was the first time I’ve seen them in concert. They played a sold out show at the Neptune Theatre, which is one of the nicer venues in Seattle’s U-District.

There’s not a lot to say about it other than it was a fun show. The members all wore tuxedos which was a nice look. A running joke throughout the show was that they were all wearing Apple watches and the video on the screen behind them would show when each one of the group reached their exercise goal for the day. Of course the drummer was the first to reach the goal but they all had by the end of the show.
